Xing have a combination of strong modelling skill, including unstructured-grid
modelling, and deep knowledge and understanding of shelf sea physical processes
from small-scale motions, e.g., turbulence and internal waves with
non-hydrostatic dynamics, to large-scale motions, e.g., circulations, tides and
internal tides, freshwater plumes. Prof. Xing is a line manager for three
senior scientists. Also responsible for a PhD student and post-doc researcher at
